How's the summer treating everyone? Before you answer with a heat-related complaint, I'd like to remind you that we're officially in what's historically the hottest month of the year around these parts. Moreover, this summer is nothing compared to what we endured four short years ago, when we set a record temperature of 116 degrees during the infamous "heat dome." Those are Vegas temperatures, folks, and not to be bested for quite some time! So, enjoy the nice weather while you can, and when it becomes too much, there's always a fabulous, air-conditioned industry establishment to cool you down.

By the way, did you notice the absolute hottie on the left-hand page? We were lucky enough to get a visit from our January 2023 Exotic Covergirl and Miss Exotic Oregon 2023, Nia, and she's still as amazing and stunning as ever. We miss you and hope to see you again soon!

It’s birthday time…and we have four this month! Kicking things off, we have a 2-for-1 for you. It’s Eris and Belladonna’s Circus Birthday Party on Saturday, August 16, at Guilty Pleasures. Also on Saturday, August 16, it’s Rosie’s 25th Birthday Party. Then, on Friday, August 22, it’s Kat Van Dayum’s Birthday Party at Kit Kat Club. Wrapping up birthdays this month is Phoenix’s Wild Wild West Birthday Party at Devils Point on Sunday, August 31. Happy Birthday from Exotic, ladies!

We also have a strip club birthday this month. Happy 24th anniversary to DV8! Make sure to drop by on Friday, August 22, for their anniversary celebrations! Congratulations!

Moving on to other industry events and parties, it's "Summer Too Hot" at Union Jacks on Friday, August 1. Right back to Union Jacks on Sunday, August 3, for their Metal Night. Three times a charm with '80s Night at Union Jacks on Wednesday, August 13. Believe it or not, this next event isn't at Union Jacks…head to Stars Cabaret (Bridgeport) on Saturday, August 16 for their Golf Pros & Par Mates Party. Next, we have the Black Cat Appreciation Day Party (but like, at night) at Kit Kat Club on Sunday, August 17. Also on Sunday, August 17, it's the Sunday Funday Lowrider Afterparty at Stars Cabaret in Salem.

Back to Union Jacks on Thursday, August 21, for 2000 to 2010: A Decade of Vibes. Then, on Sunday, August 24, it's Hunks (The Show) at Stars Cabaret (Salem). On Tuesday, August 26, it's back to Union Jacks for their '90s Night. Closing out August strong, it's Bike Night (featuring a wet T-shirt contest) at AJ’s Gentlemen’s Club on Sunday, August 31. Then, Union Jacks will have their End of Summer Slumber Party, also on Sunday, August 31.

Wrapping up events for August, we have a few car, bike, and/or dog washes, so you'll be rollin' clean with a fresh pet all month long! The first is a motorcycle and car wash on Saturday, August 9, at Stars Cabaret (Bridgeport). Next, Devils Point and Lucky Devil Lounge are holding their 19th Annual Bikini Car & Dog Wash on Sunday, August 10, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., outside of Lucky Devil Lounge at 633 SE Powell Blvd—a benefit for Array Animal Rescue!
