HAPPY MAY DAY
May Day isn’t a thing in the US, but it should be. All over Europe, it’s a celebration of the beginning of summer&mash;meaning a reason to party and get drunk, knowing scantily clad hottie-tots are on the horizon. Say less! I certainly don’t need any further convincing as to the validity of this holiday... I hereby declare May 1, May Day-Play Day throughout our beloved industry. May your celebrations make me proud&mash;play on, playa!
A good place to start is at Dante’s on Sunday, May 1, for Cellotronik, followed by Sinferno Cabaret. I can guarantee you haven’t heard a string show rock like this before, so check it out! Then, on Wed, May 4, we have a Star Wars 80s Party at Devils Point&mash;bring your best Chewbacca voice, and may the force (to not hurl your chunks) be with you...
Grab your sombrero and best fake mustache because you’ll be headed back out the very next night to Stars Cabaret’s Cinco de Mayo party in Salem. Take it easy on the cervezas, though, because Saturday, May 7, is the fifth Polerotica Qualifying Round at Guilty Pleasures. In fact, you might as well just hunker down in SE Portland because Thursday, May 12, is the sixth and final Polerotica Qualifying Round at Cabaret!
Saturday, May 14, is Julie’s Fabulous 40th Birthday Party at Guilty Pleasures. Happy Birthday, Julie! The very next Saturday (May 21) is Stars Cabaret Bridgeport’s Wild Wild West Party. You’ve done well, cowboy! We’ll give you a few days off (and you’ll need them for Memorial Day Weekend!)
Back-to-back nights of fierce competition await, with Polerotica 2022 Finals on Friday, May 27, and Fire Entertainer of the Year on Saturday, May 28&mash;at Dante’s! If you’ve made it through all that, we suggest you take some time to relax by visiting X-Sensual’s brand new private lingerie modeling location on SE Foster for a hot, erotic show (see their ad on page 44 for all the steamy details!)
Lastly, we’d like to congratulate the Gspot on its 26th Anniversary! It’s officially the longest-running private lingerie modeling studio in Oregon! Way to go, Sheena!
POLEROTICA 2022 UPDATE
Believe it or not, we’re already at the halfway point of the contest! If you haven’t made it to one of the qualifier rounds so far, you’re definitely missing some fantastic performances as well as industry moments!
